keep it on the DL

Tonight, my life companion and I were watching the frontline special, “the dark side”, which is about our current administration and the tragedy in Iraq, with a particular focus on Dick Cheney. When watching Dick form words with his tense, uncomfortable mouth, it occurred to me that I truly believe it could be possible that he eats babies for fun on the weekends. He just oozes a decaying inner core more evil than I have perhaps ever witnessed in my life. I think Andrew Morton needs to turn his debauched biographical lens on THAT guy (rather than Tom Cruise, who, though possibly evil, is certainly no Cheney). Alls I know is, when I’m growing berries on some farm in Costa Rica after the inevitable downfall of American culture/society/dominance, and Dick Cheney’s billion dollars are worthless, he is getting NONE of my organic jam.

Speaking of organic jam, my mother lives in fertile tropical pastures, with mangoes littering her yard with the promise of sweetness. Yet she does not make jam. In her words, she throws the mangoes “over the fence so that the iguanas will stay out of the yard”. This will possibly change due to my concerted efforts to shame her into eating at least one a day for breakfast and making jam for me to enjoy.

In other news, I saw An Inconvenient Truth today as a “job requirement” which was in itself awesome, but more awesome was the film. It truly moved me in a way the environmental movement usually doesn’t. And all movie revenue goes to a global warming educational non-profit. Al Gore = true American idealist and leader (unlike George W. Bush, current president).

In conclusion, here are some pictures of AK. They were taken on a 17 hour car ride with one Evan “the wizard” Kane, whom you should google if curious as to his station in life. What you will not learn from this search is that Evan has a dog named Murray, who spent approximately 7 of the 17 hours in my lap, terrified of the bumpy road.
