Here are some photos from our wonderful Christmas day. We’ve sort of settled into a yearly
routine: we eat a lot of meals out of the
house that involve sea creatures, we spend nearly half the day unwrapping presents, and we do much imbibing. According to Natan, we consumed
4 bottles of wine and 12 coffee drinks in one day (score!).
Things to note this year:
Remember my father’s wrapping prowess as demonstrated a few
years ago?
He outdid himself this year. Check
it out!
He found my mom’s Christmas jewelry stored away in the gift
wrapping box, mistook it for wrapping materials, and proceeded to wrap her present with it (necklace and earrings)!
We had many varieties of wine, including one called “Ménage a
Trois”, because it was made out of three kinds of grapes. I would think that the name of this wine would
turn away all customers but the most obnoxious of college frat boys, but my dad bought two bottles (!), which I couldn’t bring
myself to drink. I mean, COME ON.
It was a non-toxic pan (shipped in a huge box).
