Manuel Antonio Parque is very close to where my parents live in Costa Rica. It took a while for Natan and I to realize that it was a really good day trip for us. Also, it is very, very hot/humid, and the swimmable beaches are a 30 minute walk through the jungle, so by the time we arrived at the beach, we had to peel the clothes off and immediately get into the water in order to maintain homeostasis. There are monkeys everywhere in the park, along with sloths. But really, when you're that hot, it’s kind of hard to enjoy anything (except ice).
